There will NOT be regular housekeeping services during Event 2022. Should any housekeeping needs come up (such as additional toiletries, towels, coffee, etc…), please visit our registration table outside the ballroom. We will be happy to assist. Additionally, because regular housekeeping will not be available, we advise leaving a tip for housekeeping on your last day at the hotel.

For the Metro, board at the airport and take the Red line (only option from airport) to 8th and Pine exit. Walk 0.3 miles down Pine to North 4th St and enter the hotel’s side door.

Health and Safety
In response to COVID’s ever-changing nature, we are requiring that all participants are vaccinated AND have received all applicable boosters by the time of Event 2022.
We will have participants from across the country, across generations, and with chronic illnesses/ compromised immune systems. Wearing a mask is seen as a sign of respect for our vulnerable communities and appreciate you wearing a mask while in the ballrooms. We thank you in advance for wearing your mask and making frequent use of the provided hand sanitizer.
We also ask that all participants bring their own COVID tests in case any symptoms arise during the Event.
Virtual Option
We are delighted to have so many people join us virtually for the conference. Check out the above schedule that will notes all sessions that virtual participants can watch. We will also have all State of the Heart/table questions available so you can participate in these in your own communities. This will be available both on the website and our conference app.
An email containing the livestream link will be sent to virtual participants on Thursday, July 7. You can view a tutorial here on how to access the livestream.
Reminder: virtual links CANNOT be shared with others or you will unable to view the offerings
Conference App
For Event 2022 we will be offering a free app for all participants — both virtual and in-person — to use to enhance your Event experience. This will allow participants to virtually view the schedule, speakers bios, program, liturgy, prayers, and more!
After downloading the app, check out these tips on how to make the most of it!
Instructions were sent to all participants emails on 6/23. If you did not receive them, please contact us at info@cssjfed.org.
Justice Action
The Justice Action for Event 2022 will focus on the reforms needed to the cash bail system. Additionally we will learn about holistic, gender-responsive reentry services for people impacted by incarceration. Below are materials from the justice action.
Prayer and Liturgy
There will be a candle lighting ceremony during the Friday night Opening Ritual. Everyone in St. Louis will have a small battery-operated candle at their place. We invite virtual participants to bring a personal candle, also, so that you can participate fully in the Opening Ritual from wherever you are. We will all be mindful of your presence from afar.
On Saturday, July 9th of the Federation Event, we will offer a chance for everyone to pause and have some “Personal Integration Time” for about 45 minutes. It will be a kind of retreat moment in the middle of the event to help everyone begin to absorb and process all they have seen, heard and felt during Event. If you are someone who might like to pray and process your thoughts and feelings through art, we invite you to bring your own art materials or journals to use during this time.
For virtual participants, a music booklet is available at the top of the page.
