The newly renovated International Center

Living up to its mission and vision, the International Center truly has become the place where the Global Family of St Joseph gathers to explore our rich history, deepen our understanding of our mission and charism with a global focus, and create a new future that interprets our charism in light of today’s world.

The International Center Board represents the global family in its oversight of the International CenterPrograms at the International Center are increasingly attended by people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.  More lay people and associates are pilgrimaging to Le Puy for programs and visits.  Funders are supporting the Center’s programming and initiatives.

At the Center for Living History a touch wall allows visitors to learn about many important figures in the early historyThe Center for Living History, our new museum and home to the archives of the early history of our founding in Le Puy, is one of many aspects that have revitalized the programming for the International Center.  This interactive display available in six languages tells our story in a dynamic and engaging way.

We are building an elevator that will connect the museum with “the kitchen” the hearth of our early sisters. A tour of the kitchen and the Center for Living History is a must for anyone visiting Le Puy.

An elevator will enable easier access to the KitchenScholarships ensure that the global family comes together to build relationships.  They are definitely helping us to create a new future.  Programs such as “Cultural Diversity and Conflict Management,” “The Lace is Not Finished Yet,” and “Expanding the Global Heart,” are being offered all over the globe by those who have come together to share these global programs in Le Puy.

Our staffing reflects these changes too.  As we begin 2018, we will have an Associate from the United States, and two Brazilian sisters on staff.  One of the sisters has been living in France for 12 years while the other is new to the staff.  If you are interested in joining the staff in the second half of 2018, send an inquiry to us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
